Linda's Critter Corral

"Hello Folks: My sweet kitty cat, Psycho, who many of you know has had some trials and tribulations in the last few years, has a tumor on her lower spine, not causing pain as far as I can tell, however she's lost much feelinin rea, therefore has become incontinent, and has no control of her bladder and bowels. This of course is not great or comfortable for her, for me, and for the bouquet of my house. So, I tried about 6 times to give her a bath, both wet and dry, over concernof the urine irritating her, and possible causing and infection. Of course, she didn't tajke too kindly to my attempts, although I'm sure deep down, she knew I was trying to help her. Before this medical issue, she was by far the cleanest, and softest cat that I've ever been around, so I'm sure it was really bugging her. OK, to cut to the chase. This is actually a good story, and not a bummer. Honest! I decided to vall a professional groomer, explain the situation, and then I brought her into Linda's Critter Corral, around the corner from me, in Lynn. She spent over 4 hrs. in the bearty saloon, getting bathed, shampooed, shaved, nails trimmed, brushed, dried, soothed and loved. I went to pick her up and she came out smelling like a daisy, with a red, white, and blue ribbon on her head! It was absolutely the BEST $78.50 that i ever spent in my life! She is feeling a billion times better, eating better, walking better, smelling better, and with the shaving done, where the matted hair was, it is much easier to keep her clean, and stary on top of her situation. She's happy!! I'm happy!! I love her!! She loves me!!! We both love Linda's Critter Corral in Lynn, and thankd her and her crew immensely, and HIGHLY RECCOMEND her if you need any pet grooming done, here on the North Shore. "I have two, large Rottie Mixes and had tried several Groomers in my area. Although my female didn't seem to mind any of them, the male was always hesitant (he's a big baby) and the last place told me when I went to pick them up that he had to be musseled. Needless to say I wasn't happy. At Linda's both dogs seems happy. Zora runs in and past the receptionist and tries to climb into one of the tubs. Harley waits but once he sees a groomer he knows, he runs in as well. They are happy when they go in and they are happy when they come out. My dog Shelly, a westie, has been to other shops but this one is by far the best. I was so pleased, when I picked her up, her tail was waggin and she looked awesome. They gave me a time to pick her up and they were on time which is good for me with my crazy schedule. I also liked that they have an outdoor sign that says A BIG WELCOME TO Shelly. My dog Teddy has been going to Linda's for 3 years now. They do such a terrific job clipping and grooming him, he always looks as cute as a button and smells so good.  They have even been able to help with his dry skin.  My other dog Koki has been a customer for 13 years, he always looks and smells so good.  They are the only ones Koki will let clean him up, he is kind of a testy fellow.  Thanks Linda for being there for guys like Koki.

Mr. French LOVES the Critter Corral

We used to take our dog Fred to one of those commercial pet places, I won't name names here.  He was terrified!  The last few times we took him, our big tough 85 lb. german shepherd mix would pee once we walked thru the door with him.   He came home once with a cut, another time ear infection and last time temporarily lame.  We tried grooming him at home because we didn't want to put him thru trauma anymore and it was hard.  Linda was recommended.  We took him today and it was great.  Eve groomed him and she was wonderful.  Fred has a new friend in Eve & we have a permanent grooming place now.  I wish I could give more than 5 stars.  K.D.  Lynn

I brought my maincoon kitty here Labor day weekend.  They were so nice.  Her name was on a lil board outside.  It was suppose to be about 4 hours & 60 dollars for a bath, ear cleaning etc. & 6 dollars for lion clip with 10% off being first time customer.  They called me about 1 hour or so saying they could not do a bath as she was too stressed out.  They found she didn't like her head touched which I always wondered about but i did get her from a shelter so who knows what happended.  I am very glad they were caring enough not to force her into a bath when they found she was too stressed.  I want a happy cat back, not a stressed one & cats are pretty much self bathing anyway.  I am pleased to say I got a very happy cat back.  They warned me she may be shy or timid after her clip, but when I got her home she LOVED it, she was struttin her stuff all over the  house & was getting so much more attention because she felt better without all those mats.  Best thing I ever did & I will definately take her back for regular maintenance.  She even kept the bow on her head.  I highly recommend this place, they seem to care about all animals & don't show favoritism to breed or species.   Erika H.   Salem
